Our group enjoyed the overall freedom of the project of how it was based. We were able to sit down with three of the most powerful women on UGA’s campus, especially Suzanne, and just really talk to them about the things they love the most—their coaching professions. Also, we enjoyed learning about some of the obstacles women have to overcome in collegiate sports as an athlete and coach, and how each coach was able to overcome different difficulties and rise in the ranks. Another aspect we enjoyed was the ability to pick our own topic and be able to make our own decisions in the preparation and general work of the project. However we disliked how everything is due around the same time, because a lot of work needed to be put into this project. It became hard and rigorous in scrutinizing over every minute detail. The final annoyance with this project was the inability to schedule meetings and work around all of our group members hectic schedules. Overall, this project was a great experience and taught us a lot about what the Head women coaches on our campus encounter.
